The end point of our three month Touchdesigner course at 2018, which took place in collaboration with Moscow Conservatory’s Centre for Electroacoustic Music, autonomous department within the Moscow State P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
Since the course took place on the premises of the CEAMMC , which employs many amazing composers and performers of contemporary academic music, from the very beginning the laboratory was envisioned as an interaction between the musicians and visual artists.
As usual, we wanted each lab participant to have the opportunity to do their own work, but within the lab's conceptual framework. After the curator of the musical part, Nikolay Popov, formed the concert program, we distributed each composition among the laboratory participants and accompanied their work until the concert itself.
Each graduate presented a completed visual work and on August 9, 2018, an audiovisual concert was held in the "Tablitsa" event space, performed by CEAMMC musicians and with technical support from SUPERVISUALS.
